Chicago Ladies Rink Roller Skates Review

(More customer reviews)I was tired of the rental skates and wanted to be able to zip around the floor with my kids at the skating rink. So I bought these skates. At the time, it felt a little impulsive to spend so much on skates. Well, now I know I should have spent more and at least be happy with what I purchased.
I had such a hard time skating with these skates, and when I talked to the guy at the pro shop and 2 people online (there are a lot of resources online-do a search for quad skates) I realized these skates were made for beginning kids, never a 36 year old mom! They are not made to do the kind of things on the floor you think you might be able to do. In fact, I couldn't even turn. I kept having to push off because they would slow down. I kept adjusting them and had a professional at the rink adjust them for me, and forget it! I'm selling them at the resale shop and spending more money to at least get something decent.

K2 Athena Women's In-Line Skates Review

(More customer reviews)I really like this pair of roller blades for the comfort of the boot, the color, and of course, the function. My only complaint it that the brake is not the best I've ever had. It takes a lot of force to slow down, let alone stop completely, and for a person skating in an area that has fairly steep hills, it is not a good deal for me if I gain too much speed and fly through an intersection.
This skate is a good beginner skate, and is great if you're going to be skating in a park or something with a level sidewalk, but for people people who plan to use it in an area with hills, it isn't the best choice.

(More customer reviews)I used to skate when I was younger, and after quite a break, I've fallen in love with skating all over again. These skates are perfect for me!!! I have big wide feet, so having them in men's sizes worked out, and they are definitely perfect for wide feet! They're very comfortable and great in the rink! I haven't tried them outside or anything, and I don't do derby, but for rink skating they're perfect!! I recommend these definitely for anyone looking for something comfortable and attractive to skate in. Well made, and the flames are embroidered into the skate!

When they arrived I was initially impressed with the apparent durability and toughness built into the skates. Secondly, I liked the soft boot design because it reflected a lot of thought concerning comfort while using them. Since my daughter has used the skates, she has been thoroughly satisfied. Not only are the skates very functional, but they are fashionable as well. The transaction was flawless and fast. I would definitely purchase from this company again!

Considered the company's "house blend" by the good folks at K2, the Athena 2.1 women's fitness skate is built around K2's proprietary Softboot--a proven combination of comfort and control. The Softboot offers such features as standard ankle lacing, a stability cuff, and an Exo composite frame, which combine to offer serious support for new and experienced skaters alike. Each skate also includes a power strap that wraps around the ankle along with an adjustable buckle, adding to the snugness of the fit. K2 Maia Womens Inline Skates Review

(More customer reviews)I really loved these skates, but when I had to flip the wheels due to wearout, I couldn't put the back wheel back on. I never had this problem before with K2 skates. However, Amazon's customer service is outstanding and they allowed me to return the skates (even though the return date had expired a week ago) and sent me a new replacement. (More customer reviews)I bought some cheap skates a while ago because I wanted to do fitness skating. Those skates were nowhere near what I needed and they were cheap. I looked online and researched K2 skates because I heard they were the best. I was a little skeptical of the K2 Andra Boa skates because they just came out this year, but they had a good deal so I got them. The skates came in within days so that was fast shipping. The skates are so comfortable and they fit snug but not too snug and with great ankle support. I love the Boa system, I don't have to lace my skates and its so easy to adjust if I need to fix it when I skate. I've only had the skates for a day and already went riding and they were fantastic and fast and perfect for fitness or recreation. I can't say how the life is with them because I haven't had them long but I'll re post if something new comes up. Also, I read a lot of reviews on the K2 skates and they say to get a 1/2 size to a full size bigger than your normal shoe. I am normally a size 6.5 in womens and I got a size 7. The 7 fits perfect with regular socks, however I could've gone to 7.5 and use a thicker sock.

K2 Andra Womens Fitness Inline Skates Review

(More customer reviews)This is my first "big girl" inline skate purchase. If you are new to blading you may not want to spend over $100 for a sports item you may never use. However, I am here to tell you it's worth it. I had nearly given up on inline skating as an entry level sport for me b/c my first pair of cheaper skates were heavy as hell and hurt my feet terribly, even though they were supposedly the right size and width for my foot. After lots of research, I took a chance on the K2 Andra skates and I LOVE THEM. They are the lightest ones I've found for the price. Amazon also had the lowest price (as usual). It is such a pleasure to be able to skate 5 miles on a sunny day and not have aching feet at the end of it. Of course everything else hurt because I still haven't figured out how to stop properly, but that's my fault. Smooth ride, pretty fast so be careful if you're a newbie like me, great on bumpy asphalt or smoother surfaces. I spent today skating over sticks and pinecones and they did just fine. Enjoy!

K2 Radical 90 Women's In-Line Skates Review

(More customer reviews)I am writing this review on behalf of my wife, who was the recipient of these skates. She was blading before I met her, and we've been together 20 years. Needless to say she is quite good, and has been through her fair share of skates over the years. Typically, I buy her a new pair every year. No more. These skates are the be-all, end-all. The brake was detachable, which made her happy beyond belief, and the skates even came with a more narrow replacement rear axle for proper wheel fit after the removal.
The wife is more of a figure-skating type; she puts her headphones on and forgets herself as she dances and grooves to the music. These skates give unparalleled fit and control, and the lowered cuff offers extended flexibility through the ankle, which increases control and speed. The fit and finish was superb, and the pictures you see on the 'net do nothing for how awesome these skates are in person. They even look like professional skates!
The best. Would wholeheartedly recommend! K2 rocks!
