(More customer reviews)They look like 5 star out of the box. The shoes have a great mix of materials. Carbon for stiffness, mesh for breathability and leather to look precius.
Nevertheless, after about 300 miles the mesh has holes, the carbon shaft has cut into the fabric below and the coated leather is flaking at stressed parts of the shoe tongues.
The quality of this shoes is just embarrassing for a brand like K2.

(More customer reviews)I really loved these skates, but when I had to flip the wheels due to wearout, I couldn't put the back wheel back on. I never had this problem before with K2 skates. However, Amazon's customer service is outstanding and they allowed me to return the skates (even though the return date had expired a week ago) and sent me a new replacement. (More customer reviews)I bought some cheap skates a while ago because I wanted to do fitness skating. Those skates were nowhere near what I needed and they were cheap. I looked online and researched K2 skates because I heard they were the best. I was a little skeptical of the K2 Andra Boa skates because they just came out this year, but they had a good deal so I got them. The skates came in within days so that was fast shipping. The skates are so comfortable and they fit snug but not too snug and with great ankle support. I love the Boa system, I don't have to lace my skates and its so easy to adjust if I need to fix it when I skate. I've only had the skates for a day and already went riding and they were fantastic and fast and perfect for fitness or recreation. I can't say how the life is with them because I haven't had them long but I'll re post if something new comes up. Also, I read a lot of reviews on the K2 skates and they say to get a 1/2 size to a full size bigger than your normal shoe. I am normally a size 6.5 in womens and I got a size 7. The 7 fits perfect with regular socks, however I could've gone to 7.5 and use a thicker sock.

(More customer reviews)I got those roller blades because my old once finally broke I normally wear size 11.5 and ordered those at size 12 and they where perfect. They are the best pair of skates I have ever owned. They are very fast and feel strong. The price on Amazon is amazing just make sure you order ½ size bigger then your shoes size and you are good to go. I did about 12 miles on them yesterday and there was no problem what so ever with the skates and oh yeah I'm 240 lbs because I weight lift and the skates had no problem holding me.

K2 Andra Womens Fitness Inline Skates Review

(More customer reviews)This is my first "big girl" inline skate purchase. If you are new to blading you may not want to spend over $100 for a sports item you may never use. However, I am here to tell you it's worth it. I had nearly given up on inline skating as an entry level sport for me b/c my first pair of cheaper skates were heavy as hell and hurt my feet terribly, even though they were supposedly the right size and width for my foot. After lots of research, I took a chance on the K2 Andra skates and I LOVE THEM. They are the lightest ones I've found for the price. Amazon also had the lowest price (as usual). It is such a pleasure to be able to skate 5 miles on a sunny day and not have aching feet at the end of it. Of course everything else hurt because I still haven't figured out how to stop properly, but that's my fault. Smooth ride, pretty fast so be careful if you're a newbie like me, great on bumpy asphalt or smoother surfaces. I spent today skating over sticks and pinecones and they did just fine. Enjoy!

K2 Radical 90 Women's In-Line Skates Review

(More customer reviews)I am writing this review on behalf of my wife, who was the recipient of these skates. She was blading before I met her, and we've been together 20 years. Needless to say she is quite good, and has been through her fair share of skates over the years. Typically, I buy her a new pair every year. No more. These skates are the be-all, end-all. The brake was detachable, which made her happy beyond belief, and the skates even came with a more narrow replacement rear axle for proper wheel fit after the removal.
The wife is more of a figure-skating type; she puts her headphones on and forgets herself as she dances and grooves to the music. These skates give unparalleled fit and control, and the lowered cuff offers extended flexibility through the ankle, which increases control and speed. The fit and finish was superb, and the pictures you see on the 'net do nothing for how awesome these skates are in person. They even look like professional skates!
The best. Would wholeheartedly recommend! K2 rocks!

Roller Derby Men's V500 Adjustable Inline Skates Review

(More customer reviews)Purchased these for my 12-year old son last Christmas. He loved them--great fit, solid build, and good quality wheels and bearings. Just this week (8 months later) one of the buckles tore out of the PVC shell while he was putting them on. Since he hasn't used them more than once a week during this time I was a little surprised at this, but then I noticed that the buckle mounting holes aren't reinforced at all--just a simple rivet through the plastic only about 1/2 inch from the edge.
Adjustable skates aren't much use if they fail before your child's foot has a chance to grow! We'll be trying a different brand next time.
