I don't know if the watch justifies the price point as this watch doesn't offer anything in the way of seeing this in the dark either by phosphoric elements or some type of backlight. There is no way to see this in the dark so this piece has made its position in my watch collection as 'fashion only' watch. Sadly enough that small part of the function is a huge part of its functionality as a watch. For being a surfer outdoor watch company I can't see how they could have missed being able to make this visible in the dark. I would rate this only as a fashion piece but not as an all around use. The face is large and is attractive but if you are looking for an all around watch to wear during multi-activities. Somehow I thought that this watch did have some type of night view but it doesn't.
