(More customer reviews)I bought these to replace some Vans Skink Mids in the Spring of '10 from the discount rack of our local skate shop. I've worn these for over 6 months straight, for skating only, 4-5x a week, street, parks, and bowls. They're only just now wearing out at the soles, so the quality and durability of these shoes is pretty high. The soles did seem to lose their grippy tread pretty quickly, so that's the only flaw.
I was never thrilled with the look of these shoes (yellow laces?) but lots of several younger skaters have complimented them, and they do look pretty good with a dark pair of jeans.
I've heard it said that Osiris Bronx are not built for skating, but my opinion obviously differs. I can feel the board pretty well beneath my feet, they're not too heavy for a hi-top, and I believe the construction has saved my ankles countless times on bad landings.
This was my first pair of Osiris shoes, and I'll be going back for more.
