(More customer reviews)When this board came in, I was a little skeptical as to the length of it, since I'm a short person. However, when I took it outside and tried some basic tricks, I couldn't believe how easy they were to do!
My first board was some store-bought board from Modell's...I don't know what brand it is, but it was fairly decent though it fell apart very quickly from use. I tried a Powell Golden Dragon board, since I heard they were good boards, but hated it due to the concave on it...and it was asymmetrical!
This board comes in...it's symmetrical from nose to tail, has enough curve for good height on ollies without being ridiculously curved, and was sturdy enough to not get damaged when I flipped the board and landed on the underside instead of the griptape.
I feel extremely comfortable on this board; even more so than my old one, and certainly more than on the Powell Golden Dragon! I tried a frontside 180, and landed it after only a little bit of practice! I have trouble with kickflips, but if I can land one on a board, it'll definitely be this one.
I haven't tried it out at a skatepark or grindrail yet, but I highly recommend this board. I'm still a beginner, but just by skating on it, I can tell this board should hold up even for more advanced skaters.
