(More customer reviews)I bought a pair of these my first season snowboarding, knowing wrist injuries have the highest rate of any injury among snowboarders. I fractured both my wrists (on separate occasions) while wearing these wrist guards. Yes, it does give you added stability on impact, and is much better than riding with nothing, but they should really have more support. Also, these do not interface well with low-profile gloves.
