(More customer reviews)Let me first say that the graphics are different. However, they are not "completely unexpected" as one reviewer put it. The graphics shown are on the box. I think they simply changed the helmet design and kept the same box. The graphics are a bit better if you ask me. The graphics pictured are more like the 3 Stooges than the beloved Flame Boy and Wet Willy. The new graphics feature the green World Industries logo on the front and back of the helmet with FB and WW on either side. This way, you don't have to worry who's on your board. The old graphics featured WW winning and if you are riding a board with FB winning then you'd look silly.
The helmet is a professional level skating helmet. You could use this for street, park, vert or even big air. The quality of the outer shell is superb and the padding is sufficient for anything you can throw at it. I may be wrong but I believe this is very similar to the helmet Mike V wears.
The helmet also includes an additional forehead pad since those seem to be the first to go when your helmet starts showing signs of use. This helmet (if you use it a few times a week and use the replacement pad when needed) will last a typical user about 3 years unless they outgrow it or fall out of an airplane.
Great product from one of the best skate companies around... even if they are owned by some corporate giant now; if so, it doesn't seem to have impacted their quality at all.
