He didn't try them until mid summer, when he did I had to switch the stopper to the other foot but I realized it could not be done, the frame for the wheels didn't have depression for the screw head so it could not be attached. My son tried to skate with them anyway and they barely rolled. He ended up squeezing into and old pair and used them.
I wouldn't buy these.
