(More customer reviews)When these skates arrived, I thought they were going to be just great. They look to be very high quality and easy to adjust between sizes. All new ice skates need to be sharpened, and that is where the problem came in.
We took these skates to 3 different places in an attempt to have them sharpened. Not a single place-ice rink, skate shop, or even the place they were purchased from could sharpen the skates or tell us where we could go to acheive it!
If you look at the skate, you will see it is unusual in that there is no space between the boot and the blade. The machine they use to sharpen skates, called the Blademaster?, uses that space to hook the skates onto the machine. If there is an attachment to the machine for skates like these, well, nobody has it......
So, I have returned the not-so-great after all skates, and just wanted to warn others.
