(More customer reviews)I purchased this sneaker in the color RED for my 7-yr old (size 4). The size and width were accurate. It feels like a very well made, sturdy shoe. My little boy also reports that they feel great on his feet. Traction is average; I feel this shoe is appropriate for everyday wear at school. I might also add that my son likes that there is a skull and cross bones on the tongue as he thinks it's a pirate theme (and I like that the skull embellishment really isn't seen while the shoe is worn). Although this shoe is described as being made with canvas and suede, it is mostly canvas so I believe it will look nice for a long time. I'm probably going to buy another pair in a larger size for future use if the price is right.
