(More customer reviews)I started out in Roller derby 5 months ago, and these are the skates I bought. I initially bought them because I loved the red color, but they are great skates. They are good for speed and very smooth once you work out the wheels. At first they are VERY slippery, I couldn't even stay in bounds on track because I was going so fast and sliding out, but after a while, they are GREAT! I get excellent traction and I just love these skates. The only issue I notice is that sometimes my one foot gets a bit sore in them when doing a lot of crossovers. I don't know if it's the skate or my foot. Anyways, I HIGHLY recommend these for the beginning skater out there, you won't regret it!
